Time really flies…like butterfly … haha, one week of work has gone by … my job scope comprise of the usual admin stuff like sorting, filing, labeling, data entry… the people at the accts dept are really nice… even though it is our job as temp staff to do all these, the way that they assign you work really makes you feel that you are not taken for granted… when they want you to do a task, they give you all the materials, all the stationeries without you having to search for things yourself when u know nothing bout the company... the instructions are clear even when they are busy…
I am with another temp staff SH who went in the same date as me… My junior… haha, she is in ntu accountancy too…year 2 next sem… a quiet n nice girl… like Claire n Hz, she is also a “plain water drinker” … haha… both of us are deposited at a meeting room which has quite a good scenic view =P n when it is 5.30 and the bells ring in the office, we will knock off n go take the shuttle bus to Queenstown mrt station. Sometimes I feel guilty… haha, cause all the perm staff are still in the office doing OT I guess… but then again, we are just temp staff…
Eh, I feel cheated… the agency pays me 5.5 while SH, by another agency, is given 7 per hr… 1.5 diff is a lot u know… since both of us have similar job scope and time length, I guess the commission earned by my agency is really more… haiz…
Actually at my dept, there are really lots of youngsters... and i tink 2 of them are in fact younger than me... hehe, n many of the jobs they do reminds me of my internship... like the invoices which i saw SH stamping n the fixed asset tagging that i was helping out wif yesterday... makes me wonder if i should go into accounting... since numbers seems to be more of my cup of tea than law n theories... what one of the staff said is quite true... at a public accounting firm, u are less likely to feel the closeness of a family cause the team and the partners that u are working with for each piece of work are constantly changing... on the other hand, to come to think of it, the GST dept that i am going to work in is actually quite small only so still okie ba =)

i am trying hard to find out to find the reason to why my legs are aching this morning... was thinking the whole morning... 老了。。。cause i recall sitting down most of yesterday afternoon trying to drive away the sleeping monster residing in my eyes... then i suddenly rmbr that it is probably due the bending down and the sticking of the asset tag stickers to the new chairs that "strained my muscles"... now not only do i have an so-not-genki body, i also have bad memory....
.
oh, did i mention that i do not trust buses anymore... jams at the express way in the morning is really horrible... now, i change a new route to work... i take mrt to habourfront n then a few stops on bus 100... save almost 1 hr of time... not exaggerating lo... conclusion: express bus 963e is not express at all.. lol...
